🫖FOR SALE 💫: 1984 Univega Gran Turismo size 58cm for someone 5’9+ $650 OBO
The Gran Turismo was a sought after 80s touring bike with a double butted Chromoly frame, rack mounts front and rear, cantilever brakes and decent tire clearance. With a wheel swap to 700c we were able to get 700x35c @panaracer_japan Gravelking tires and fenders to clear nicely. The cockpit called for a @velo_orange bar and stem to keep it clean and classy. Drivetrain we went 2x8 speed with a decent range for city riding, some suntour bits and rare tagaki cranks paired to stem mounted friction shifters for low maintenance. I personally love some stem mounted shifters and love how they keep the bars clear of things.
A bike isn’t complete without some @simworksusa talking parts housing to add some color and flare.
